The Fund was established to remember Chiara Guarguaglini a dear friend and colleague who passed away prematurely. In the last chapter of her life, Chiara witnessed firsthand the belief in oncology research and the need to concretely support public facilities to ensure an acceptable course of treatment for patients. The fund is aimed at supporting the Niguarda Oncology Foundation, which promotes research and improvement of treatment at the Niguarda Cancer Center at Niguarda Hospital in Milan. The Foundation has three main lines of activity: oncology research, training of health care personnel, and patient care in the hospital.
