With this second option, fund promoters are given the opportunity to identify at a later stage, also based on the actual amount of donations collected, the initiative or initiatives that, in line with the fund\u2019s purposes, they consider most appropriate to implement. In practical terms, when funding a project, donors know in advance how their contribution will be specifically used. When contributing to a fund, instead, donors are aware of the fund\u2019s purpose, but not yet of the specific initiative through which that purpose will be achieved.
